General Discussion MCM 2 / Re: MCM2 COMMUNITY INQUIRE
October 28, 2005, 11:16:46 PM
Oh please,  stop being so tight.  Sure,  he didn't use the proper tool for the purpose but I can hardly see him causing any damage with it.  What really hurts is people making others efforts feel unwelcome.

I didn't see neither of you provide a better suggestion than "lolz please use the forums n00b".  Grow up.

FnF_Phil_80:  Signed the list.  :)

Anyway,  sorry for getting off like that,  I just find it sad how nice people always tend to get under the flamer within this community.

Sweet bananas,  I was hoping for Alex and Mike (old friendship bias ofcourse :X) and I'm glad to see that at least one of them nailed it.  I'm sure Alex and everyone else can make it into the circle some day as long as they keep trying,  you all rock.  :)

Congratulations!

I have never heard about a problem where the application in question "shakes",  sounds freaky.  To delete all user-data such as bookmarks (assuming newer versions of Windows) go to this path:  C:\Documents and Settings\your_user_profile\Application Data\Mozilla (path and root can vary of course).

You can also create new profiles and switch between them by going to:  Start > Run ... > "firefox.exe -profilemanager" (type it and go).

If the problem remains I'm pretty clueless,  a new problem for my ears for sure.

Even though I wasn't very active on the community sites back then I do remember his tracks,  all fun to ride I must say.  If I can spank my computer together again I will be there for sure,  else I'll do my best to help at least.  :)

Oh and by the way (I don't want to make another "ZOMG FIREFOX!!!" thread for this),  Google Toolbar was released for Firefox a while back.  I can recall that people had the lack of a "Google Toolbar" on the list of why they don't use FF just yet.  :)

Oi,  now I'm stuck in this dirt again!

We'll see I guess,  once I get my actual computer back I'll take a look at my huge archive of dumped displacement maps and see if anything is to be used.  :)

Dude, Simon. Your english kicks ass now. I remember when I corrected everything you said. No corrections here :o

Thank you,  I've been working on it.  ;)

meh I guess your right Simon, I was in his shoes before. But the problem is that he just doesnt listen. People will tell him that he needs to improve and fix certain things and he just doesnt do it. On top of that he usually floods the tricks page with subpar tricks causing the good creators stuff to get blown off in a couple days. Now getting back onto topic .. uh humm ..

Welcome back man and I hope to see you on MSN sometime soon :)

Thanks for understanding,  you grew some years in my eyes already.  I have been reading some more on "The factory" now and I guess I was rude to blame you in person,  it seams to be the law of the jungle that rules around there.  O_o

Oh well,  *#*#* happens.

Thanks for welcoming me back,  it's nice to see you all again and I'm happy to be back.  :D

Alright,  stop hijacking my thread you goofs. ;)

Since this is off-topic already,  do you mind if I ask a general question and share an opinion?
"Of course not!"
Thanks...

Soooo,  a long time ago I picked my stuff together,  left some of the mcm2 forums and literary grew up.  I see that others still have that move on their apparently well hidden to-do list now when I scroll around on the MCMfactory forums though.  What is up with people?  What's up with the major offensiveness towards some people whoâ€"as far as I can seeâ€"does nothing wrong but simply "suck" at what they do.  I see this "Wil" guy posting random (yes, not so good) creations and also giving D-Dub some "props" for his creations which he obviously looks up to and D-Dub basically returns the favour with suggesting to ban this guy for "sucking".  I mean come on,  I remember a time when D-Dub was in "Wil's" shoes and had a hard time creating anything decent,  don't these guys remember anything but what happened last week?  It's a pain to say this but the forums on MCMfactory (the site, administration, and the service they provide is great,  I say nothing about that) really hurts the appearance of this community.  In contrast to these forums of course which has remained with it's friendly aura, good job on keeping it clean and friendly here guys.

Just venting my opinions and thoughts...

General Discussion MCM 2 / Hi, how are you and etc?
June 24, 2005, 03:25:28 AM
Just stopping by to say hi,  here goes: "hi!"

Seriously though,  what are you all up to these days?  I'm starting to get the urge back for this game but I don't know how the activity around the game is nowadays. (not that it really matters to me)  Are my trusted friends still alive?  Kyle, Alex, Mike, whoever â€" are you guys still here?
I sat here having one of my breaks from work and got a bit sentimental about things. :D After all,  this is where it all started for me. (as for the most of you I assume)
I lurk around the forums here once a month or so and I'm always as surprised when I see how people still post and generally act as active as ever before,  it's awesome to see.

Anyways,  just thought I would step by and see what you all were up to nowadays. :)

Hehe, yeah. I just made my key to the doors of heaven invalid. A few years of good deeds might make it valid again... but just maybe. :/

So, any updates for us Kyle? I've been away for half a year or so, I don't have a clue on whats going on anymore. :P
