If all you need is raised sides than make your terrain in photoshop(or another program that uses layers). Make a new layer and paint the track path black.  Than change the opacity of the layer until you get what you want.

you just need to calm down.  People release their tracks when they are happy with them whether they are perfect or not.  Not everyone has the skill level of a pro yet, everyone is learning.  If you want them to spend more time on their tracks and produce better tracks, than tell them that and give them constructive critisism on how to do that.  Bad mouthing someones track does not make them want to try harder, but some good critism does.  From personal experience, im no pro at all, but my work has gotten a lot better over time due to a lot of helpful people teaching me and telling me how to do things and how to make things better.  If i started making tracks and someone was bad mouthing them, i would have quit.  I am looking forward to your track, but why settle for 90% perfect?

Track Creators / Terragen Cube Tutorial

I remember a while ago O_R or someone made a tutorial for making cubes in terragen.  I used to know how but can't remember the parameters to put in to get the images right.  If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great.

Heres the other track.  Rnd 2 of eroded raceway series. Not as rutted as the first Eroded raceway but i might change it up and make it rutted up. Gotta do the cube and objects and stuff on this one too.

i used v97.1 and it worked fine. maybe its just a little bug?
#16
Im not sure if anyone else has had this problem because i just started making tracks again but i have v .97.2 and when i generate shadows to get the tree shadows the shadows are pitch black with white dots placed in straight lines.  I did make the trees pretty big so im guessing that could be the problem? Any help would be great.  I would upload a pic but i dont have an ftp program to upload to my space anymore. Ill get one soon.

Hows it going everyone.  Its been a long time since i have been somewhere related to MCM2. I recentley got a computer again and decided i would use a little of my spare time to play MCM2 again and hopefull make a few tracks for myself as well.  I was wondering if anyone had any of my old tracks.  I dont have anything from the past.  I also need a few other things to get started making tracks again.
