Yall got me wondering if I should attempt to get started back into gaming? Gave up trying to run MCM2 with this Vista OS.

Wow! Chuck, thought you fell off the face of the earth. Last I remember you were getting married sometime after we partied in Vegas. Good to see your still kicking. I haven't been able to run MCM on Windows Vista so just hangin out for something new to hook on - doesn't seem anything will happen though - Oh Well. I have good memory and still enjoy the times we had.

What was the track we ran? A Cold Day in Hell - the good old days!

The greatest thing would be if you programmers could revive MCM original to function on current operating systems. Would be amazing to run the old game engine with the old tracks we had endless hours of intense entertainment on. I imagine the frame rates would be exceeded, online racing would be pretty even for what was once the closest racing we ever experienced with then top end computers. What were they like P2-600 processor?

Nice to stop by and see some great people still hangin out. Still hoping a great multiplayer PC game comes around!

Troy, Make a MCM 1 patch so the new drivers would suport and we could start it all over again.

Hi Dave, Bruce! I've been keepin busy. I had to stop by since that frequent thought of the MCM 1 days (best memories of authentic fun) permeate into the mind. I got to plug the old controller in sometime and run some of the great tracks we so much enjoyed. Glad to see this site stays up. Nice to say a hello once in a great while!

I have more friends from here than anywhere else. Maybe someday there might be a reunion of some sort, online or Vegas or something.

I'm a poser. How you guys been?

Well I guess I never really mentioned I quit racing bikes in 1985 because of a car accident that wasted my back. L4-5 got so dehydrated the last couple years the pain and numbness started getting pretty scary. All fixed now, still working out the effects of the surgery but the nerve pains are gone. The last 20 years I couldn't walk on a treadmill - crusin now. I got real motivated last July when I rode a Kevin Windham type 450 Honda.

Not so sure racing dirt will become a reality but by the end of this year I will be back on go-carts. I wish technology 20 years ago was near what it is today. Back then an MRI looked like something of a star trek space image. Now they look like a picture from inside of ya. That, and I started walking bent over like a 100 year old kind of pushed the issue. I am so lucky.


I'll try to e-mail an image of my hardware to you Pete. I couldn't figure how to display it in here. Post it for me please!

I'll also fire up the game (get stick out of storage) and get back to you soon. I would love to do some laps. I bet I miss MCM more than anyone!

Anyone ever get together for MCM2 laps? Recovery gone well from my surgery - feelin a bit like tryin some laps of fun with some old friends if possible. I would attach image of Titanium Screws in x-ray but not applicable here.
