General Discussion MCM 2 / Re: Motocross The Force
November 29, 2005, 06:18:35 PM
I had to jump in here and say that that video looks impressive. The demo I tried sparked my interest but that video has me eagerly awaiting the next release. Along with the things Diablo mentioned about the rear wheel sliding out... in the video I noticed a lack of gyroscopic effect in the air under accelleration but I know you guys are still hammering it all out. The physics in the video appear to have great potential to be exciting and some parts seem to be more realistic than anything else I have seen. Great Work. It would be cool to see the talents of this community stand behind a project like this. The depth of resources in the MCM2 community between track creators, artists, modelers, and coders could really contribute to the evolution of this becomming what we are all looking for.
Thanks Benoit for visiting our community and shariing your comments. Visit often and keep us updated.

If you are looking for a great game that you can mod to the bone with skins, maps, vehicles, custom objects etc. You should really check out this free full download of 1nsane.  1nsane is an offroad based game with incredible physics that came out around 2000 and was not very popular due to poor marketing. It is sort of like MCM2 but off-road vehicle based. Multiplayer via ip or gamespy up to 8 players... IP works very well. The small community it still has has managed to open it up to modding just about everything for the game. There is even a new 3D map editor made by someone in the community. The map making process is similar to MCM2 and uses height maps. There are hundreds of user made vehicles and maps and new tools and map objects being made constantly and you may even recognize some vehicles ported to MCM2. Anyway I figured alot of people here, plus skin and track makers would really dig this game.
The only catch to the download is you have to register and maybe refer a friend... but hey is the full game and it is really good.

General Discussion MTX / MTX help

If anyone has completed all the freestyle events in career mode can you please post the career. I cant for the life of me do any tricks that require up then down movements so I cant unlock the stuff that the freestyle events unlock. And please dont tell me to try harder or practice more. I burned 4+ hours in butterfinger trying to do any tricks that require any opposite joystic movements just to come to the conclusion that there must me some issue with my joystic not registering these movements properly and got a sore hand to boot.
