General Discussion MCM 2 / Re: MCM2 online tonight
December 18, 2006, 02:27:55 PM
I havent tried joining mcm2 through X-fire yet but i would imagine between that and Hamachi it wouldnt be so bad . Maybe meet in the MDX lobby's , post up some IP info and go from there  ;D
Feel free to add me to X-fire , I've been turning a few laps this week on mcm2 after over a year off and man was it slippery LMAO . Also the new recorder has been out for a bit , could make things competitive again .

Right , i knew i saw posts on this problem but thought maybe this was the fix ,Yes i have a spline (and the whole track done for that matter) then i hit generate to get a mini map and stays grey . When in game all you see is the green dots following you (the AI) but i did download a sx the other day and it had a mini map in game so it made me think someone had a fix to this problem....thanks for the quick reply tho bud , How bout all this damn snow we just got  ;D

Heya Bruce ,
Just a simple newbish question for ya . I downloaded the newest version of the track map fixer , opened it and located my track i wanted to fix ,fixed it , it says its renamed at the end so if i was to open it again it says "already fixed "...now is that all ? Will the track map show up in game or is this a different fix ? I noticed it quite alot that you dont see the map when you generate a mini map in the editor , and on track you just see the green dots...are we all talking about the same problem and is this the temp fix for it ?
Any help would be appreciated  ;D

So i saw this on Amazon a few days ago. Any truth to this because if there is I'll be pre-ordering today .

Wow , just came accross this thread and looks good that its coming to PC . I doubt any game will replace what so many of us experienced in MCM1 & 2  but at least its something new to learn and maybe create new life into the racing community . Since TTM went down , that was a big enough blow to us for our offline / online tournaments so hopefully this will have a great anti-cheat program or at least something will be created to run it like the TD zone , TTM , msn zone , ect...
I'll wait for some decent reviews after /during the release before getting too excited  ;D

I noticed Paul mentioned Colin earlier as a possible candidate , which we at XPR are overwhelmed that you look up to him as a great track creator, As far as him looking for a position like this , I know he moved about a month ago and hasnt been online since seeing cable isnt popular in his area but i'm trying to get in touch so that he can respond to this thread and give his opinion on it . Its great to see ya Diz back in the community of mcm2 , allthough i'm not a creator i've been a host of many tourneys over the years and your tracks have always been ones run in them and gotten great reviews from all  ;D

Good to see all of you and good luck to all who are interested in this oppertunity of a lifetime .
