DgVoodoo was updated  to the version 2.63 and the mcm2 terrain particules  problem (washed-out textures) was fixed .

Now its possible use WineD3D_Win_1.7.52 or DgVoodoo_2.62 to play mcm2 .

When we go do some laps on TDZone or gameranger     

I forgot to say that you need to :
•right-click on the Motocross Madness 2 short-cut , Properties
•compatibility tab
•check run this program in compatibility mod , select Windows xp sp3
•check run this program as administrator
•apply , ok

If you have problems with WineD3D , install dege dgVoodoo , or vice versa

If dgVoodoo new version doesn't work (happened to me) , try a older version .
Versions that work to me : v2_45  v2_53  v2_54

•Move the files to motocross madness folder
•Launch dgVoodoo exe
•Add motocross madness 2 folder
•Apply , ok

dgVoodoo just has one problem , the terrain particles details dont showup , the dirt will look very washed-out ...

Hi guys .

I found a way to have mcm2 running on windows 10 without graphic card problems and without "washed" textures (terrain textures detail) as it happens with dege dgVoodoo files .

You just need to Extract all this 5 files to Motocross Madness 2 folder and lunch the game .
(the game will take around 10 seconds to launch)

Try it , maybe works for you too .

***If you have dege dgVoodoo files installed , delete or move them to other folder out of mcm2 install folder .

About the mcm2 and windows 7 problem , you can play mcm2 without reset the ram to 2gbs  , install  dgVoodoo in mcm2 folder and play .

The only problem that i get is that the dirty looks washed out lol , the mcm2 dirt particles dont showup , see the pic .
(but maybe Dege or someone  can fix that in the future ?? )

You can also use this to the mcm2 track editor .

This is a track that i started 10 years ago lol but never finished it , its finished now lolll .
The laptimes are very big , i was thinking about split the track in 2 tracks but was almost done and i did'nt want make more changes...

500cc and 600cc its better for this track because theres some big jumps that "should" be hard to do with smaller bikes but who knows ....

For this track you need winter tires too lollll

Open the Registry Editor (search for regedit.exe)
Go to :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Motocross Madness 2
Create a new DWORD and name it :
AllowVCRControls
Then double click on it or modify and add :
1

For W10 , try search where mcm2 is in the Registry Editor .

Install Mcm2VCRreg is a thing that helps when we want record videos from mcm2 , it gives more controls when we see mcm2 vcr videos.

Mcm2VCRreg.zip  just works with xp tho.

For windows 7 64x need to be:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Motocross Madness 2
AllowVCRControls
dword:00000001

Your ISP doesn´t alow you to use more than 1 IP ?  (mine let me use 2)
Then , with a moden\router in your old pc , you are ok to play .

You can host a race in TDzone\mcm2 racing with other person ?
If not , you need check your firewall and router settings.


I could launch a tdzone\mcm2 race using vmware player with the same tdzone profile X2 , with the same mcm2 profile X2 , but after be in mcm2 ready to run the track , i go to vmware to click the ready button and vmware crashs lol

But as you are doing using 2 pcs its much better than with vmware .

Join to tdzone in the next days and we will try if you can host .

Yes ,its working fine now , firewall was blocking the version 1.33 b7 .

Laurie , in the download link of startgate , the download is of the version 1.33 beta6 , but the latest version is the 1.33 beta7 , i think would be better change the link so that we can use the latest version (beta 7 should be better than beta 6 tho)

Or install it in your old pc too ?  With this one should work , unless that there are IP conflicts tho.
