General Discussion MVA / Re: MVA Track Editor Video

Kevin my honest feelings about this is the editor is so easy to use that there will be a zillion kids making slap up tracks. They wont need any additional help. Just take your time and go through each stage one at a time and play around. It wont take long.

Bruce, get ahold of Neil (starsplat) over at WWW.  http://www.teamwwwracing.com/ He prolly has all mcm1 tracks made and can probably help you out with info in those regards.

Wow theres a lot there Id like to see remade.....theres one track from either mx racer ,motoxxx41 or wrek that I remember the layout but the name.......?  Might have to reinstall mcm1 to find it. :P
There is some very original stuff in there.

Hey Ryan! Hows it goin? Your tracks are timeless works of art. Please get the bug to build tracks again in say......6 months?  ;D
Look at all these old timers coming out of the woodwork! Shovel and Smokngrn have also been contacted. Many others you may remember.

Kamshaft, any thoughts on opening another MCM Central like site again? I loved the setup you had there.

So much for my above post...

QuoteIGNPC: Players will actually be able to create their own tracks this time. What have you included in the editor to make the process easy and fun for those willing to put the time into creating custom tracks?

Rob Baumsteiger: Pretty much anyone will be able to pick up the track editor. It should be very easy to use, but the great thing is that the advance users will be able to export in textures and displacement maps.

Editor looks a bit like the Xpand Rally editor, except simpler.

Im feel both good and bad about this upcoming game release. Good that theres finaly something new coming, but bad because I will be spending way too much time sitting in front of this monitor!
It also sucks that its coming out before/during the summer. Thats lousy timing but hey its better then nothing.
I also hope that the editor is highly complex to use and will weed out the truly dedicated track makers from the sloppy slap together track makers.

Bryan, I still have yer beta from a cpl years ago.....damn fine wfo nat.

I agree with Chris. The quantity of track makers have gone down, but the quality of tracks today is incredible. Too bad everyones hard work doesnt get as much appreciation as it would have 3-4 yrs ago.

He's in hibernation mode. Hey did you ever try his 3 yr old beta "A Train"? IMO his best ever.... PM me if you want it.

I was just thinking of Jack the other day. If we cant get a tourney together then at least ride some of those old classics. My fav was coulee region. I rode that thing for 100's of laps. Never got sick of it. I started making a tribute track for him which turned out pretty cool but just never had the desire to mess with dillo and the rest to finish it. Some damn day I'll do it.
Heres his last known track, prolly the  last ever beta on the Junkyard.
