As I asid I already know that, its copied from the wiki  ;) Maybe I was not clear, what i did't understand was how to work with the red green and blue channels in photoshop. Think i figured it out
though, if i paint in a layer with color (255, 128, 128) that will affect the red channel only. And thats what i wanted to know (given that it works)  :)

Hello guys,
I am wondering about how to work with channels in photoshop when creating a softness map. I understand that the red, green and blue channels are affecting different aspects of softness, but how to edit them in a good way? Sure I can paint directly in respective chananel with different greyscales, but it would be nice be able to work with layers. And if I create a layer and paint with example red, the red channel becomes white, but the green and blue becomes black and thats not what i want.

So, any ideas how to work with layers in channels?  :)

 Yes, I use some stock textures. I tested to only use my own textures and then the topdown generator worked, so it seems that stock textures is the problem, thanks  :D

Tough I started to like thoose stock textures... Anyway to work around this?

Hi guys! :)

I have a problem whit dirttwisters topdown creator. When I open my track file only a black image is generated.

I have made some troubleshoting by making a new track file. The topdown utility works when I import only my RGB-mask. But as soon as I change the textures I get the black image again. Also when I chang to stock textures.

Somebody that know about this problem or what to do to fix it? :) Thanks!

Hello, I am about to build my first Reflex track and wondering about those little yellow track marks that is used in a lot of tracks. I cant find them in the list of objects. Can somebody give me a hiint of where to look for them? :) Or are they custom objects?

Also, is there some recomendation about how many trees you have on a map? On a 2048x2048 map I am up to nearly 500 trees, could this make the track laggy?
