Title: Analog on gamepad not working...
Post by: Ufdah on March 08, 2005, 11:04:56 AM
I have a Gravis Eliminator Aftershock dual analog gamepad and an Xbox controller that works on the pc and both are doing the same thing:  They both calibrate fine and the analog portion is working perfect but when I try to use them in the game they act like a d-pad where turning is all or nothin.  I've tried on two seperate computers and it's this way on both only in MCM2 tho.  The funny thing is I have a 8 year old Interact PC Power Pad Pro gameport joystick that still works flawlessly in MCM2.  The only problem is that my new PC doesn't have a gameport...

If anyone has any ideas as to how to make the new controllers (USB) work right I'd love to hear em.

I found a workaround for anyone who ever experiences the same thing as I have with the Xbox controler.  Use an older version of Redcl0uds XBCD drivers here: http://www.redcl0ud.com.  I had to go back from v1.03 to v0.57 and now it works great.  It doesn't have all the features of the new drivers but everything you could want for MCM2 is there plus force feedback works.
