Title: dillo2 - sky error
Post by: Sneer on February 28, 2005, 12:13:02 AM
Hey,

i got a prob with an skicube. The whole track is working fine until i add the cube-file. It bundles the track, but it crashes in game as it starts to load the cube.
Armadillo lets me bundle an working env (with the same *.cub) so it s no bad file, i also could watch it in dillo2.

I just like to add sweet mxu-noise, and thats just working with dillo2, right?

yes the texture detail mxu noise is only possible in D2. I have never heard of a sky that D2 won't pack. Could send me the sky or a link to the ENV for me to d/l so i can take a look. Have you run out of HD space maybe, that can cause D2 to write a partial file which will cause MCM2 to crash on load.

its too weird, other cubefiles working fine.
So it should be the ski.
Did u bundled the ski or just watched it in dillo2? - 'cause i can see it there, also.

the problem is caused by your beta ENV name, because it's so short it's causing D2 to corrupt some of the files. Change the name to something longer and more unique - like beta1 - and you'll be good.
