Post by: 51 on February 13, 2005, 02:01:22 AM
Bruce or anyone who has some input go ahead.

I haven't played mcm2 since the MXU tracks were released. It ran fine. Everything worked fine. I tried to fire it up today...all i get is black screen. No Microsoft logo, no nothing. I have it running in win98/me mode on compatibility. My refresh is set to 85. I need help again lol. Sorry for wasting everyones time.

Indeo Codec or check the latest files you have downloaded... try taking all the latest file u download out of mcm2 folders and see if it works. Then if it does. add all your files 1 by one back into mcm2 so u can see what file is bad

dont know if u depend on ME, but i always had problems with it with not only mcm2 but other programs as well like photoshop. i would just get rid of it if i were u unless you depend on it. i reallly like windows 2000 pro but i just recently upgraded to xp.

k well i have indeo codec installed...i run xp pro...the only files ive added are the MXU tracks and MXU res files...I go directly from the exe not a shortcut...I'll try a few things like hooks idea and whoever said the profile thing...if no worky ill just do a repair install, because I haven't added anything since last time it worked. thx for the replies.
