Title: Importing a traction map to D2?
Post by: VMX_SKYmx99 on February 08, 2005, 07:24:20 PM
Ok,  I must be skipping a step somewhere....  I made a traction map with the colors shown in the D2 helpfile, saved it as a 16bit .bmp and tryed to import it in d2.  I got an error saying it isnt a 16 color bitmap.  What am I doing wrong?   ???

16 bit is way more than 16 colors.  I use paint shop pro and there is an option in the menu to decrease color depth.  Look for something similar and choose 16 colors.

Ok, I got.  Myth told me to save it and open it in paint.  There I can save it as 16 color.  Easy enough. :)
