put them in C:\MCM2\Track Editior\Usermodels\, make sure to use APM, it's in the download page on this site.

in the usermodel folder. nd you should have mcm2 installed on C:\Mcm2

ok....  C:Mcm2/TrackEditor/UserModels  is where i put the objects, so do I just unzip custom objects into that folder, then open armadillo and wammmm, there they are? I did that and when I open my project in armadillo all i see are the stock objects.

when choosing the objects in dillo, are you choosing from the "custom" objects list?

ok, it worked but i noticed this, when i try and place a new object in armadillo it causes it to crash but if i use dillo2 it works fine. is this just a bug with armadillo?

Yes.  You need to get the Armadillo updat.  It's in the downloads section here at TD.

NOT under c:/PROGRAM FILES/mcm2

PUT it as C:/MCM2

this means YOU have to reinstall MCM2 direectly under the C drive....

and it may be crashing just because it is a bad object...

that seemed to fix it. I reinstalled to c drive. thanks for help.

1 more question  :) do i install new stadiums in the same folder, usermodels folder then put in game through custom tab in armadillo?

yes.  all "custom objects" ie any that arnt the stock ones, go into the usermodels folder and pick them from the custom objects window in dillo.

if the object is bad, would this cause the game to crash? since installing a few objects when I save and bundle and try track in game it kicks me to desktop

Post by: MotoMaster on February 06, 2005, 08:21:19 PM
yes, but i wasnt sure how to use it. do i need to install the objects with it?

there should be a help file i think,  but basically,        lay all your objects out in dillo and save your project, then Alt Tab out BEFORE BUNDLING

then open APM and select your .PRJ file and set anysetting that you want sun direction lighting blah blah the hit process.

when its done Alt Tab back into dillo and hit BUNDLE     dont save again just hit bundle.

one more thing, i worked on my project and did as you said, then i went back into armadillo and now it doesnt want to reopen my project, it kicks me to desktop, but the bundled track works fine.  it is possable i saved my project after using APM, would this cause this?

yes, you will need to re-run  APM before you can open it in dillo again.  ;)
