Well I've ridden motocross before but that's just not my thing. Skateboarding is. Here's a video that my bro, cousin, and I put together this weekend. A lot of yelling took place cause I kept getting hit by the board, plus I was exhausted. Credits go to my cousin for shooting it, and he and my bro for the editing.

good to see a couple of skaters around here but really if im honest i wernt too impressedd. Before you start going of ledges and steps you need to get your ollies and kickflips down real good. You look inconsistant and dont think i saw you land a flip of the edge. When kickfliping down steps imo the board should rise up to your foot not your feet going down to meet the board. Patient and practice and you can go a long way:)
I loved the video the first time I watched it, but looking at it now, I do see what you mean. I had way too many crashes on there, plus I do need more practice with kickflipping of a ledge. The reason why you saw me fall so much when ollieing the stairs is because I have only ollied off a 2 set. That was the first time i ever did a 5 set, and i landed it the 5th time I tried. It was fun to make and we'll be making another one soon with me just landing most of the tricks.
It takes forever to get the consistency that you need but it sure is fun.

Yeah It's tough Jon, I get so mad for not landing a kickflip or something for the 1000th time but then when you finally do, it feels great. Luckily I have gotten the kickflip on the ground consistently now, unlike off a ledge. I think the key to it is perserverance, lol.
i skated for like a yr before i was happy with my kickflips and i cud do them off ledges real easy. I skated so much i had a mini ramp built in my garden, its kinda bein forgotton now as other things are taking over. I kinda gave up as i achieved everything i really wanted to do skateboard wise, but mayb in the future;)

dude we were skating today and i cavemaned off a planter and over a flower bed :o
That video was cool, wether you are any good or not at skating its good because it at least shows you have a passion to go over and over. When I used to skate i gave up because i sucked, but i never strived to make myself better. Kudos to you to stick with it.
BTW, if anyone on here remembers me, I'm not dead, and I might visit a little more because this site isnt blocked by the school anymore. I still have no internet at home tho.. Anyways, hope you all had a nice xmas and new year too :)
I remember seeing you around here adam. I think the reason why I stuck with it was because I knew I could land it. I've only been skating a year so I can only do so much. :)
