Title: Armadillo Problem
Post by: HKR_envy317 on July 29, 2004, 03:27:17 PM
Ok guys hope u can help me out. Im am working on an national track and when I import the diplacement map into armadillo and I adjust the Displacement height and Grid Size, the screen turns a dark gray color where the track terrain is supposssed to be, and the only way I can view the track is by Test riding it. It had never done this before but I had to reinstall armadiloo because I tranfereed the files to just C;/Microsoft MCM, so I could use custom objects. Might there have been a chance that for some reason got a bad version of dillo. Also If i import the disp. map without adjusting the disp.Hieght or grid size I am able to view track in 2d or 3d mode with no problems, but as soon as I adjust the disp.Hieght and grid size the screen turns a gray color like I said before. Any help would be greatly appriciated ,thanks.

easy thing bro, well when you resize the grid it becomes smaller and then camera stayes were it is when you change the grid so the camera is near the track at all so you have to move around an hopfully you will se the track again

yes when you import your map at a higher grid size normaly it ends up  in the top right,  so once you have the camera in the top veiw move diagonaly to the top right and you will find it. and i think when ya in the 3d view its the opposite.
but it is there you just have to  move around to find it.
