But question to Laurie or other programer, why Dillo Too users must be carefull with the "res" files replacement ?
What we must do before using D2 now ? Must we replace the original ECO & GLOBAL files in the RES folder ?
I don't see exactly an explanation about that in the downloaded file.
Thks for ur great work !
(MTX tracks soon ? lol)
Phil.

Did you read the Read_Me_NOW!.txt file?

The ECO and Global res are fine to leave updated.  It's just the mdoels.res.

I believe the issue is with the new Startgate, Models.res and the released version of Dillo 2.

I don't know how to word it any better than this:

From File:  "Read_Me_NOW!.txt"

IMPORTANT NOTE TO DILLO TOO USERS
=================================
As of version 97b2, Dillo Too does
not yet support this change to the
MODELS.res file.

* You MUST switch back to your
original MODELS.res BEFORE running
Dillo Too or it simply will not run!

Look for an update to Dillo Too
very soon that supports this and
much more.  Sorry for the
inconvenience.

Thank you for the SX, and now the MXU NAT tracks!
It is a very rainy Saturday morning in southern CA (part of a rainy 2 weeks actually) and I really appreciate having a few new tracks to run.
Your team is great, and really helps to keep this game fresh. AWESOME work!

Thanks again. :)

Hey guys, make sure you go and check out SlackJaw in practice mode.  Bob (fixer) put a tremendous amount of work into this track...probably more than most people will ever appreciate.  There are so many "cool" things you can see and do in this track it's incredible!!  One of them is climbing the tree house.  Have you guys made it to the top yet?  :)  ...and don't be startled by some things flying around...this is a swampy environment ya know so anything could jump out at ya!  :)

Nat07 wasn't skipped on purpose, it just kind of happened that way.  Bob (fixer) really wanted to do SlackJaw (which is number 8 ) and I got as many of them ready as I could (which ended up being numbers 1-6).  We will start working on number 7 now but I'm guessing it won't be ready for at least a week or two.

Just an addon to my previous post..:

I loaded in the new MODELS.res that you said changed the physics in a SX game.
My Question is.. Does this file change anything else then the SX physics in a SX event on a MXU track?

Yes these tracks are exact copies.

Hmmm I couldn't remember replacing MODELS.res so I checked mine and the last time it changed was on 30-4-2000 ... so I guess I hadn't updated it...but I never saw a MODELS.res for download???

It contains the updated starting gate.  It's in the TD_Optional download.  It does not change the physics.

Ahh..!! Guess I totally misunderstood what the MODELS.res file does  :D

While I'm at it..
Will you make it possible to use the MXU objects in a MCM2 track?
