What program do u use ? And do U apply your scale and rotation of the obj ?
i made the model in c4d and exported it as collada in blender.
i don't understand your 2nd question sorry
Filip is talking about this...

When changes are made in Blender, you should always "Apply" those changes manually..
From looking at the picture it's very hard to tell what's going on. Have any other objects given you this problem? I would suggest that you make sure you're using the latest version of the Surface creator.
i havn't made changes to the object in blender.
i have mad a tree before and this didn't happen and i havem't made any other objects.
i do use the latest version of the surface tool.
the problem is; there are only 3 sides of the object showing the back, under and upper parts are missing
You're an experienced 3D modeller so this is probably already checked, but have you got the winding order of the polies correct? so that all normals are pointing out, because that looks like and 'inside-out' object.
Ah of course! I see it in the picture now. I had to crank the contrast up to see it.
mcm2boys is right, the faces are inverted.
oooo okay.
thanks for the help guys!
