Title: Flipping the steering and reflex sticks.?
Post by: 22Ryann on February 07, 2015, 07:40:47 AM
Hey Everyone,

I recently re-installed steam and reflex on my new x99 system i have now and started pumping some unleashed and reflex, loving it..! being so used to mxsimulator where i mapped the controls i really want to flip the sticks on my xbox controller so the steering is on the right stick, and reflex on the left.

I believe this was easy on the actual xbox version, but here on the PC it seems impossible as it maps all directions of the stick to one name, So when u try and map each direction you can't because you already have that control mapped. It's super frustrating.

Any tips or hacks to make this work? i got the steering to change but due to the *#*#*ty nature of the mapping window i can't get the reflex stick working on the left.

I had a look at the ControllerPresets.bxml, but nothing seemed to work there.

I have a feeling that the savegame.bxml needs editing.  Problem is the button actions are assigned to ID numbers, which I couldn't find a reference to.

Is something like this of any help to you?

Thanks guys for taking the time to reply.

I was able to get it to work by setting certain values in a haxxor way and it seems to work in game, took me a while going back and forth but it seems to be in order now.

Cheers Ryann,
