Hey guys. Just got MX vs ATV Reflex for PC. Have loved it on xbox and always wanted new tracks! But I have a USB gamepad thats basically a xbox 360 controller but its just a USB one. How can i get it to work on the game? Thanks, a quick response would be greatly appreciated as I really wanna play comfortably :p

"basically" a 360 controller? Does this mean it was designed for the Xbox, or is it a PC pad that just has the same button layout?
If it was designed to be used on the console then you'll have issues using that on a PC. The Xbox console has a built in wireless receiver so it can receive signals from the gamepad. The lead you get with it is just for charging the batteries. I discovered this when I bought a console gamepad to use on my PC. To get it working I had to buy a wirless receiver so that it could pick up the input signals.
Well it's an actual USB gamepad...Does not work on Xbox. It's a specific controller FOR computer use. It dosent work though, and thanks for a quick response :P I think i need some control map for the database files? I don't know...
Maybe Reflex will only recognise input from an Xbox controller..? I think you probably need a Xbox controller emulator. I did a google search, and this was the first result > https://code.google.com/p/x360ce/
Let us know how it goes. :)
I actually already tried that...I tried it again and the controller shows up in the emulator app, but when i put the transfer scripts into the Reflex files it doesn't work :(
Any other ideas? Thanks anyways!
You need a controller that has drivers that support xinput, the old directplay controllers aren't supported. I have never used them but some people have reported success with xinput emulators like Jamie suggested.
