Title: My first track. Try it out!
Post by: flap on September 27, 2014, 07:04:10 AM
Hi again!

I have now been tinkering with the editor every other day after work, and have gotten far enough to where i felt it would be wise to release a little beta so you guys can check it out.

I am still trying to figure stuff out, and this track is way more of that than an actual attempt at a badass track.  Id appreciate feedback and technical advise!

Having alot of fun getting back to this stuff after such a long break. Cant thank you guys enough for opening up all these rad oppurtunities for us all!

oh yeah, another thing. I have a tiny MacBook air, so i play with the computer hooked up to my TV. Therefore these screenshots are literally screen shots, with my phone acting as the camera haha..

Hope the file works.. I just took the files that other downloadable tracks contain and put 'em in a rar. The track is in Freeride, Beta Slot 5

I left my sign in info to my FTP at work, so i uploaded it to speedyshare.

Welcome back Flap!

Not much feedback I can give really...  Looks like you already have everything figured out! :)  Only thing I can suggest is adjusting the fog, so that cliff face is better looking from a distance.  If I remember right, making the fog colour black will effectively turn it off.

Good job so far!  Looking forward to seeing more from you. :)

Thanks a bunch Jamie! Glad you like it.  I was trying to make the fog blend a bit better but couldnt figure out the settings, ill try switching it off completely, that should do the trick!

Didnt have time to do any more experimenting this weekend but ill try to get some done after work again this week.  Possibly a little supie track. Ill keep posting in this thread so check back ;)

i really like the other worldly look of the pictures, that sky really tops that off, with the dead trees..

Looks like you're finding your way round pretty quick..

On the photos the track looks really awesome!

Going to test it in a couple of minutes because the downloading takes 20 mins with speedyshare.
Next time upload it on mediafire pls.

Hey guys! Thanks for the nice words.   I made another freestyle track and started an outdoor supercross track, but before i was 100% done i bought the new MX vs Atv Supercross game and have been stuck playing that ever since.

Ill have to get back to reflex here in a bit and finish those tracks, i totally forgot about it haha!

Gonna try to fire up the ole computer this weekend hopefully and get some work done. Ill come back and post updates when i do. Lots of work at the moment but ill try to find the time ;)

Oh man Flap, this beta-track bring back the good old MCM2 and some classic MX-game feelings! Some jumps are not so easy to get clean over them, but all in all it's sweet! Can't wait for a final edition of this track and some more of your work...

THANK YOU FLAP! :)
