DS

PSP

both these thing look Hella radical and tubular, i guess with DS, gaming is free, like, if u are within 30 feet from one another, u can play togeather, or even sample games if u dont even have them, and it has a touch screen, and u can message people, and blah blah voice control, all awesome shiz

and in psp, i guess per polygon, its better than the ps2, whatever that means, it looks nifty as hell too, but i dont really know much, but they both have pretty rad games

the DS is going for ONLY $150!!!!!!

and PSP, for the value pack, which u will surly need  ::) is like $230.....

could people fill me in more on the psp and ds??

Correct, the PSP is more powerfull.  The PSP can play movies, but only on their Proprietary UMD Disks.  PSP is supposed to cost more, but who's going to buy something that cost more than a home console???  Also, battery life in the PSP is a bit of an unknown.  They're saying 2 hours is the max if the disk is constantly spinning, like watching a movie.  I've also hear rumors Sony will kick your game back if it's accessing the disk too much.

The DS also has many unknows.  Battery life isn't one of them.  I think I've heard a minimum of 8 hours.  I've heard games must be able to be played without the stylus.  (They're predicting lots of people loosing the stylus.)  Your finger has to be able to do the stylus functions.  To me that makes the stylus not very accurate.  But who knows, I haven't played any of the games yet.

Both are interesting pieces of hardware, but I'm not sure the general public is ready to accept either machines at their current pricepoints.  PSP is only rumored price point at this time.

I'll deff get both whenever they get here but if I had to chose my choice as for now would be the psp simply because it looks more interesting to me. :)

hmm, im thinkin DS myself, its cheaper and it looks like it has more functions, n u dont have to buy a memory card, but the games dont look so hot, but the ability to do *#*#* with the stylus is rad, and the 2 screens is awesome

I've been interested in them using it's wireless capability to use that program where you draw things with the stylus and send it to someone else in the room.  That program is built into the DS by the way.
