I can't get that little popup thingy down by the clock on the windows taskbar, that says "found new hardware" to come up.
I'm trying to reinstal my gamepad, and when I plug it in, that popup is supposed to come up, and I follow the wizard from there, and choose my drivers.
I tried doing it by going to control panel, then add new hardware, but I have no option to instal "standard system device" then "HID compliant device" as in THIS (http://redcl0ud.hostrocket.com/img/xbcd3.jpg) pic.
This is just another thing that is weird after I reformatted my computer.
Anyone know how to get the popup thing working, or how to get an option to add a 'standard system device'?
Thanks
If your pad connects to your computer via USB, then choose "USB Human Interface Device" or find your controller in the list and have the disc in your CD rom or click "Have Disk" and install it that way.
Thanks Maui. Had to jump through more hoops, but its all workin in the end.
