I was wondering if anyone else has heard about this game, looks like it could be awesome-epic and just what we've been waiting for-(fingers crossed) It's from Codemasters- who seem poised to release a few great titles this year:

It looks a bit of allright
The graphics do look pretty incredible.. I'd be interested to see the poly counts for the models.
I posted a link to a Game Informer article on Fuel in another thread a while ago.....you must have missed it. However I didn't see all the bike screenshots when I saw this game before. Hopefully it is what we have been waiting for.

Yeah I thought I saw it mentioned here and I searched the forum for "fuel" and didn't find it but I thought the bike pics needed shown.
I did see your original post Pete, i thought this was that thread until i saw Bob's name. Sounds very interesting, i'm wondering how much the editor will let you do, sounds like it's a race editor not an evironment editor, but who's going to want to create an envronment of 5000 sq miles and then populate it.. :P

Thanks Bob. As I said, I didn't even know the game had bikes in it when I first looked at it.

I rented this for the Xbox 360 for a couple of days. I have to say I was not impressed. The terrain and graphics were pretty good but I thought the physics and actual game play kind of sucked. I would be interested to hear what anyone else thinks about this game but I don't think I will be buying it any time soon.

I have it now rented from gamefly Pete, and I'm not to impressed either. I may buy it as I can not get t from them for 25.99 and I've had it for a while, 2 months. The game is ok, but nothing like we here would hope for.
Great looking graphics, but not so good handling and no in car views of FP views on the bikes.
