This is prob a noob MXU question, but I can't find the answers in the forum anywhere.
Can someone tell me why the objects in "not in lib" tab don't show up ingame?
These are not custom abjects I'm talking about they are objects from National track 2 ...trees to be specific.
These same objects work fine when placed with the MXU editor ...but thats not an option because this project is a multi-tile HD track so I need to use UE2 to place the objects.
Thanks
If you want to place trees it is much better to use the Eco system, since this uses less system resources when a lot of trees are shown in the game.
When you use eco models (the trees and bushes) as regular objects UE2 does seem to have this problem, I'm not sure why - my guess is the Eco system handling in UE2 is interferring with the regular model processing and something from the model isn't being saved into the PAK file. I need to look at it but since people placing trees usually want to place a few trees - the eco system is the answer and the problem doesn't come up to often..
Are you trying to add a lot of trees or just 1 or 2 here and there?
