Title: Very bad armadillo problem and some sad news (for me)
Post by: Bunny on September 14, 2004, 06:47:40 PM
Well, My armadillo recently messed up.  When I go to the 3d view of my track to test drive it, I can't see any of my jumps because they are clear.  It's not like it normally is where it's white and has the shadow, it's clear and with no shadow.  I already tried reinstalling it.

And the sad news is that I no longer have the track I was working on - When I uninstalled armadillo, it must have deleted the track from the dispmap folder :'( . I never made a backup of it.
Oh well I will just start over then.

But please, any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.

nevermind, I fixed the problem, had to do with an option I had selected in mcm2.
My track is still gone though, *sigh*
All for nothing

i had this problem some time ago and i know others have to. not sure what causes it but when ya load ya map its like there but ya cant see it, so just go back and either reload the map or reload the project without leaving dillo  thats what i think sorts it out.

so to hear ya lost ya map.

Ian.

lol i posted as you did,

so what was the setting you changed?   may help others out that have the problem.

Yeah well thanks for trying to help, but since I have it worked out, I guess I'll try and start on a new project - any suggestions since I'm a beginner track maker?

oh ok, sorry about that.  I had selected "single pass" in the mcm2 advanced options in-game, so I just changed it back to dual pass and it worked.
