I just got this game and have had problems from the start. The biggest problem is when in the game and racing it will freeze for a second or two, just enough to throw me off during the race....and then sometimes it will boot me out withe the Error box say mx v atv must close box. When I check out what the problem is it says MX v ATV.exe problem.

I have recently upgraded my video card & drivers.....

XP Home Edition SP 2
MSI KT 4 Ultra MB
XP 2700 cpu
Geforce 7600 GS video
1.5 g ram

I have tried uninstall & re-install with no avail??
Does any one have any ideas??

The stutter may be to many devices running, go to..

start/run, type in msconfig

click the start up tab, and disable all, then reboot,

The Getting booted from the game may be several things, first make sure you have the patch installed from THQ/Rainbow, and the latest video drivers from Nvidea. Keep us posted, see if that helps, there is also some good information and motocrossgamingforums.com

I do have the Patch & latest drivers from Nvidia.

Hey VRT_RideBlue

I did what you suggested about the msconfig and it is working alot better. I haven't got booted from the game, it still wants to stutter a little but not as bad as before.

Good deal, yeah, you are just above the min, when I had a 2.4 it did that, now I have a 4200 and 7800gtx vid card, and its real smooth.

Thanks for your input. I just got through buiilding a 64bit computer.
Would this have a better chance of running MVA? I haven't loaded it yet,
The Video card I put in didn't come with any software! So I had to root around the web to try and find it.

This is my New system

512MB RAM
MSI RX1650-TD256E-R
AMD Athlon 64 x 2 Dual Core
