Title: Local CBS station
Post by: Bulldog on January 15, 2007, 12:38:56 PM
Was anyone else lucky enough to watch infomercials instead of the race yesterday?  Apparently the JACKASSES at my local CBS station don't think the races are worth airing this year.  What a bunch of crap.

I have sent emails expressing my displeasure to CBS, CBS Sports, Suprecrossonline and my local CBS station.  I can't believe that CBS is supposed to carry nearly half the season this year and those numbnuts aren't going to air them!!!  >:(

I watched on my local CBS station.   Sounds like you need to complain more directly.  Have you tried calling them.  Sounds like you need to get a bunch of the local MX guys to call the station.

I called them while the race was supposed to be on but of course the program director wasn't there at the time.  I have not called them again.  But I have sent an email to the programming dept there as well as emails to CBS, CBS Sports and I sent one to supercrossonline.com assuming that it is run by Clear Channel or whoever promotes the events.

I don't see how the local affiliates can choose not to show something that is a nationally scheduled CBS program when companies have paid money to have their advertisements shown during the broadcast "nationally".  Apparently the local affiliates can chose to show whatever the heck they want.
