Hello everyone, I'm getting back into mcm2 haven't played in about 2 years and i have forgot how to do everything. I cant seem to get the Bike models to work in my game. I have extracted them to the bikes folder and i have bike switcher v1.4...when i go to the rider screen i see the bike just fine..when i get into the game however the bike is just completely black. Everything else from bike switcher is working no numbers and the sound is right, but the bike is completely black. Any ideas? Thanks
Make sure u have the right skin with the same name as the bike u r using in the bike folder too
If it is in there and named right u'll need to change the size of the skin from 512x512 to 256x256 if thats the case u need a better graphics card

what kind of card.you got?
have you updated your driver and Directx?
is your skins 24bit uncompressed?
what bike model are you using?
..older ati cards dont render all textures for some reason..
I just updated my driver when i re-installed mcm2...im just trying to use the stock models like the TD CRf 450 model. My video card is ATI Rage Pro Turbo AGP
as far as changing the files from 512x512 to 256x256, i will try that but all my stock skins run at 512x512.
Got a screen shot, that might help remind me or give some other clues. Can you see the stock bike again when you restore the RES files?
Can you tell us all the changes/add-ons you have installed?
Is it the Dual-pass single pass or the Fit all textures into video memory setting?

i got an older pc whit that chip on my motherborard..
my setup is i run the ati as a 2d card and use 2xvoodoo2 cards as 3d

Sorry guys been outta town for a few days, Well as it turns out i just went out and baught a new computer. Havent installed mcm2 yet but we will see how it does. Thanks for you help so far tho!
