Title: Retrieve maps from old tracks?
Post by: The_Trevinator on January 31, 2006, 05:12:01 AM
This is one for the twised dirt team.  I believe that I heard something from you guys about being able to get displacement maps from the env files in MCM2.  Is this correct?  I have 3 tracks which I lost the files to, and I would like to recover the maps if that's possible.

I think I will make this thread a sticky and the only way that I'll do it is through requests here.  Here are some rules:

1. It can be up to 3 to 4 weeks before I get time to do it.  I already have more stuff to do than I have time for.
2. You need to post a link to the track.  I have had too many request for tracks that the person doesn't even know the correct file name.
3. Only the creator can ask for this.
4. One track at a time.
5. We wil edit the post containing the link when it's fulfilled.
6. The information on how get the dispmap/texture will only be e-mailed to the e-mail registered with the forum.

Bruce here's the link to the track I want the most right now.  Currently they say I've exceeded my bandwidth.  I might have to upgrade my plan.  Try tomorrow I suppose.  I'll let you know if anything changes, and thanks for the reply.

It looks like you will have to wait until i get home.  I'm away at training right now.  I thought I had what I needed to do it, but I don't.

It's a great layout that I never got the chance to finish properly.

Thanks for all you do to keep the community going.

Hello
I would like to know if it is passible to get the dismaps for the stock nats from MCM2?
I already made a version of Iron mountain from scratch, but would like to do the others , and the maps would help alot.
No Hurry, When you have time.
Please e-mail them to skboltr@centurytel.net.
