Has it ever worked for you?  Do you have XP SP2?  Do you have the latest video/sound drivers?  Do you have DirectX 9.0c?

9.0c?

If you have SP2, DirectX 9.0c, the latest drivers for your video and sound cards, then I would uninstall/reinstall the game.  If it still didn't work I would contact THQ.

What kind of video card do you have?

It says in the games readme.txt file that it only supports ATI and nVidia video cards.

Guy's, I had the same problem as soon as I tried to load the profile!!! Don't know if this is the same issue as you experienced but I got round it by loading the game without loading the profile. Once the game has loaded OK, then load the profile. It seemed OK after that??

I'm no expert, but my advice would be to not use that profile anymore.  Make a new one and start over I guesse.

I found that only saving the profile when the game asks - ie only after winning in career mode. Don't save after playing user tracks.  So far I haven't corrupted my profile....
