Title: DilloToo Shadows
Post by: BPh on January 16, 2006, 06:56:32 AM
Yo TD crew (I like to say that  :) ),
I have a problem with the shadows in D2 (97.4, 97.3 too).
When I apply the shadows, all the map is shadowed !
I have this problem since D2 97.3, thats why there isn't shadows on my latest tracks lol.
Any idea ?

BTW, 99999²²² X thanks for the latest MXU nationals tracks !

Hey Phil, have you moved the sun too low on the horizon?

I don't know why this happens. A couple of people have mentioned it, my only thoughts are there is a large object that is creating a large shadow - like a stadium, or if you are using a custom Start/FInish gate and you have the stock finish gate switched off in the spline tab there could be something weird happenning with that (try setting Render StartFinish shadows to false in the Options panel.

I'll try and look into it but i'm starting work on an Unleashed editor so not sure how soon i will get to it.

i had this problem too i tried making a new project with just a bale on the track and the shadows didnt render, so it wasnt a big object issue, from what i know it was a bug in dillo too, but yea lauire mcm2 is the past, i cant wait to see a new version of dillo too for mva :)
