Title: Dillo Too 97.3 Object Placement 90 degrees off...
Post by: VMX_SKYmx99 on December 20, 2005, 11:05:10 PM
I know there is a newer version of d2 now, but I wanna ask this before I download it.

When I click the tab to place bales, banners, etc that follow the spline they are rotated 90 degrees too much.  It follows the spline perfectly, but they are not angled right.  Anyone know why?

sky, its because who did that object didn´t pack it on max to mcm2 folloing the  y axis , for exemple myth bales do that thing of the 90º  (to fix that i did a bale with the same size but with a right Y axis on 3dmax and did copy´s to use with all the textures (just for big bales yet) ) ,
btw that button of dillo help alot to put bales and fences.

oh i see, also some mcm2 stock fences do that , maybe if dillotoo have a buton to set that when we place the objects can help us, maybe Laurie can add that button on future version of dillotoo if possible.

Do the stock MCM2 bales & banners do this? I had to add a 90 deg rotation since the stock banners & bales are rotated this way. Perhaps a button is a good idea, i'll look into it when i get my PC back up again..

Yes, all the bales are like this.  A button would be very nice. :)
