No one knows how well this game will do this early on, but I am optimistic it will be a hit. That being said, I wonder if it would be of any benefit to Rainbow/THQ to release the tracks from MXU as and expansion pack to MVA? I would pay $20 to have them. I know the people here at TD have made almost all of the MXU tracks for MCM2 and did a wonderful job. It would just be killer to have the original Rainbow versions that are already tuned to the bike physics of MXU & MVA. I know I am getting way ahead here, but I can't help but think of things like that. ;)
Even if they don't offer an expansion pack, I'm willing to bet TD will be able to help bring these tracks to MVA. ;) Depending on what we can/can't do with the editor, I'm planning on bringing some old favorites to MVA.

That will be the fun part- not having to reinvent the wheel - just tune it for the bike it's on. ;)
I was wondering if they would do this also. It really makes sense for them to do it because I can't imagine it would take much work for them to convert them to the PC format. But I'm sure Bruce, Jeff & Laurie will figure it out anyhow so I'm not too worried about it. :)

Hmmm i dont think they really need to convert the track files... aren't MXU and MVA basicly the same but different physics/vehicles? And xbox/ps have the same kind of files... except for the executables... so it should be easy if someone can get them of the xbox/ps MXU disc and then just put them in your user tracks folder of MVA pc? ... or am I wrong here...
I think we will find out once Jeff, Bruce and Laurie look at the files. Hopefully they can just be extracted from the XBox DVD and used...but I'm guessing there will be some kind of conversion necessary to be used with the PC version.

Hmmm I don't think so... usually with the xbox and ps version they just got different execuables then the pc, so the consoles can read em, game date usually is the same... oh well we'll see...
I would expect there to be some level of conversion. I would assume to allow for the addition of user made tracks the directories and resource files may be organized differently. Not to mention that any changes that they may make to enhance it could break some of the older stuff.
