MCM2.ICD has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Thats what error message I get when i try to launch mcm2. anyone seen this before or know what causes it? Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the game and still get the same message
If you are running winXP make sure you have have compatibility mode set to win98 and if you are using XP sp2 then you will also need the Indeo Codec. A search here will give you more info if you need it.

try to copy the main files from your mcm2 CD if you don't have that i can send them over msn
for some resone they get corrupted sometimes
I would recommend that you uninstall and then make sure to delete the directory that you installed into. That way you are sure that you are getting the files off the CD.
It's always important to make sure you have the latest DirectX, video, sound, and controller drivers for your system.

I had this problem with my new system (XP SP2) right after installation. Go get the "no cd" version of the MCM2.exe and you should get past the .ICD problem. You still need the Indeo codec though.

that fixed it, thanks guys
Didn't know you couldn't run MCM 2 with the CD in XP SP2. I just tried it and it blows up everytime. I even tried adding mcm2.icd to the app compatibility section and it still blew up.
