Are you using any "custom" objects? If you are you need to edit the "yourtrackname.scn" file and the  "yourtrackname.ini" file. --- or use APM - available here.
Also you'll need to have MCM install to a short directory path such as c:\MCM2

Is it just this one project, is it all projects? What was the last thing you did to the project before saving, like adding spline, objects (custom) etc? How far along the blue loading bar does it get before it gives up?

You could try just opening it in D2 to see if D2 will open it?

You can get stuff like this happen if your HD is full and it can't save the whole project, or maybe a corrupt PRJ file ..

If D2 will open it then there's a good chance the files are alright, and it's a Dillo glitch. Did you try saving and reopening with just the Map (no textures) loaded and see if that opens? I'd be interested to see the results .. and maybe try it with a different texture on it to see if it's some weird combination of the tex and map data that causes it..

Allen, did you change the grid size, from the stock size? if you did, and you carrid on
splineing the track, that will create a problem and sometimes causes dodgy files, and
you cant open the project, when you reload your project in to dillo.
If that is the problem, when you change your grid size, you need to save the project,
before you do any work to your track, exit armadillo. reload armadillo again, select your
project, and carry on with your track making. then every thing should be hunky dorey.
have fun regards chris
