They want $2.99 for EACH bike!
They started selling DLC before the game was even running properly...

A good thing is that all the files are already on your pc so if you know a bit about modding you can easily exchange a stock bike with a DLC one :)

Here's a "quick" tutorial on all out/mesx mods.
The general procedure is basically the same for both games with 2 main differences.
I think that you need a bit of basic knowledge to be able to understand it right away because it is quite a messy process :).
Anyways, If you have any questions or issues let me know and I'll get back to you :)

We're working on it :)
Of cause, they say they don't care about mods... The thing is that with all the DLC they push out they make a ton of money and mods would more or less stop that so they made it "hard" to mod.
The only real thing I can see happening is just texture and model replacements like in mesx since all out is also made in ue4. Something like a track editor would require official support from nordic.

If you want to make good tracks for any game you have to spend some time with it :) In other words - you can't get enough practise, which means that making tracks for reflex will only benefit you ;)

Would be amazing to crack open MxVsAtv All Out and be able to create a community of tracks and skins again.
As of now, I'm 99% sure that the skin/model replacing part will be possible because since Nordic is using Unreal Engine 4 now it'll be built up the same way as the Milestone games, and for those who don't know, Milestone games are fairly easy to mod. Unfortunately only replacing... Adding new stuff is out of my range.

Well, basically that's just reflex track making from there so I'd recommend reading through C4's document or watching AL167's videos. They may be a bit old and outdated but they give you the basics of track making (->how DE works)

sorry paul i was in the middle of writing this while you wrote your text above :P
The programs:


  • Create Topdown
    Create Topdown is uses your RGB mask to create a Topdown image with your Textures which appears after a certain distance away from you

  • Photoshop(recommended)
    Most Track creators start in Photoshop, which is not free to use, at least not legally  ;)

  • Gimp
    Gimp is basically the free alternative to Photoshop

  • Leveller(recommended)
    Leveller is a great tool to make Heightmaps in. However, it's not free.

  • Viewdispmap
    If you work with Photoshop, Gimp etc.. you will come across "stair steps" when you work with higher elevated tracks. This program will smooth those out for you.

Now when you have those setup, I would recommend getting C4Detonators Track building Kit or watching the basics tutorial by AL167 (a bit outdated)

What I need now is the make the lake look more realistic. So I'm asking for help with the settings on the WATER because at the moment there is just a dead (non-moving/no waves) lake, and I THINK that the water should be able to have at least some sort of waves in it? Am I wrong here?

Mmh.. It's been a while since i've messed with it but the main water animation is when something "crashes" into it :P But the water UV map (i think) is the only map you can mess with as well as the settings for the water color etc.. (don't get saved in the .track file so you have to re-enter them everytime you open DE :()

Here's a quick question however. Is it possible to make track pics that will show up in the game?

If you mean the picure the pic that gets displayed when selecting the track and in the lobby then no :/ would be a nice thing to have tho :p (laurie if your listening:))
