Here is a collection of MCM2 custom objects. This pretty much represents what I have in my UserModels folder to date.
Some of the files have minor updates that overwrite the files found in the original zip packs. Everything should be reverse compatable so just copy everything into your UserModels folder and you will be ready to go. I believe everything included in this zip is freestanding. You do not need the contents of the original zips installed for these models too work.
I have included my TDaniHawk models. These are my first attempt at custom animation. They are treated as moving objects in Armadillo and Dillo Too. If you place them in Armadillo they will remain static and not have the collision detection (just like all the stock moving objects). If you use Dillo Too you will find the Hawks in the moving object dialog. Feel free to experiment with them.
I love to learn of tracks that display my models. Please drop me line so that I may download and ride your tracks if you use some of the objects. It really helps my enthusiasm for making more stuff.
Reskinning the objects for custom appearance is encouraged. Let me know if you come up with anything cool.
Please do not distrubute the collection and/or any of the objects. TwistedDIRT and harmonic cycle are the only authorized distributors of the collection and/or the objects.
Oh yeah, hidden in the collection I have included a nifty little Perl script called "clean up" that will inventory and log your models, textures, and _art previews and let you know whats going on with the stuff in your UserModels folder. You will need a Perl module loaded on your system. (Search the web and get a free Perl download) and the script needs to be in your UserModels directory. Its real handy.
